Corned Beef and sliced beetroot together in a sandwich are awesome. Has to be decent bread, though.

"The thing is though, cat food has moved in since then"

How many years do you wait before assessing cat food again?

Corned beef, rocket and piccalilli on granary bread, radish and maybe a chunk of mature cheddar. A very English lunch and as good as anything you'd get in the world.
